The Allianz Cultural Foundation offers young Europeans who have participated in one of its Allianz Summer Academies (ASA) the chance to actively work on shaping a shared Europe through dialogue and tangible projects. Members of the Allianz Alumni Network who have drawn up concrete project concepts are eligible for a grant from the foundation toward making those projects reality.
The foundation is committed to funding cultural, educational and exchange projects. To promote intercultural exchange of knowledge and experience, alumni initiatives must involve at least three ASA alumni of different generations and nationalities.
The so-called Jackpot Projects are put into practice within one year and bring participating alumni insights and practical experiences in project conception and management, PR/publicity and accounting that put professional skills at alumni fingertips. Since the Jackpot Projects were introduced in 2010, a wealth of innovative ideas have already sprung up from the Allianz Alumni Network, including an annual debate competition, multiple conferences and exhibitions.
