The Jean Améry-Prize is an award for outstanding achievement in the field of the time-critical, progressive essay writing paying homage to essayist Jean Améry. With the support of the Allianz Cultural Foundation and the publisher Klett-Cotta, the prize will now be offered to contestants Europe-wide.

Meridian Czernowitz: Programme for poets and poetry-translators
The International Literature Corporation MERIDIAN CZERNOWITZ announces the start of the project «International Residence for Poets and Poetry Translators from Ukrainian into German». The first residency is planned for March 2013. This would be the first writers-in-residence in Ukraine. It will become a part of the European network of residencies HALMA.

Hotel Europa
On the occasion of the Frankfurt Book Fair 2012 (10th to 14th October of 2012) the book 'Hotel Europa' will to be published. 'Hotel Europa' was issued by the author, translator, journalist and member of the Advisory Board of the Allianz Cultural Foundation, Ilma Rakusa and Michael M. Thoss, Managing Director of the Allianz Cultural Foundation.

European History and Literature Translation Programme for Central and Eastern Europe (CEEBP)
A long-term translation project of the CEEBP for international standard works in the field of European literature, history and politics.

Eurozine Review
The project constitutes a development of the fortnightly online magazine "Eurozine Review" already sponsored in 2009, which reprints selected articles from 80 European cultural magazines in 34 languages. The enhanced version "Reviewing Focal Point" will comprise translations of articles, essays, interviews and original contributions by well-known authors under a main heading relative to Europe.

European Borderlands
The "European Borderlands" project has been running for several years and is an initiative of the Allianz Kulturstiftung and the Literary Colloquium Berlin (LCB) in cooperation with international writers.

Allianz Translator's Prize 2007
The endowed Allianz Translator's prize was awarded for the first time in 2006. The Prize intends to honor outstanding translations in the languages of Central and Eastern Europe.
