Prof. Dr. Christina Weiss

born in 1953 in St. Ingbert/Saarin. In 2006 she was nominated as a Honorary Professor for Comparative Studies at the University of Saarland, Saarbrücken. Since 2008 she has organized her own event series at the Literary Colloquium Berlin: four times per year a round table discussion with various dialogue partners is held, and broadcasted by RBB during public holidays. At the end of November 2008, she was officially appointed to become the new Chairwoman of the Advisory Board of the Allianz Cultural Foundation.
